Wednesday nite

Hi, everyone! Another topsy-turvey day in Peru. Last night, our plane was one hour late, only to be told to turn around and go one hour north, Lima was fogged in. My neighbor and I spent the next few minutes praying, and soon we heard "We're going in!" We were the only plane to land that day from 3pm on! Praise God!!! Got back to Alfa (our Hostal) around 2am and woke up this morning sick. Its just a bout of the flu, I'll be over it in no time. However, no time to waste in bed, went to see "our land" for the first time. It's a beautiful piece of property, lots of shade, a fairly nice home (for the area) and CORN growing in the back! We got a plot-planner from the city and now we are waiting on the answer about our permit. Not sure we're not jumping through hoops for nothing, though, everyone just kinda does their own thing! We got some papers signed and notorized this evening. Ricky stopped and got me some pills, so I mighty beeee geting a weeee but sleeeepy.......
