Buenos noches mi amigos y familia! Again, want to keep these short, so you'll keep reading!
An update on the property, we are meeting with MIMDES on Monday to get their blessing. It's an excruciating wait, but it's His timing, not mine! Looks like we can get a reduced price of $20,000, if we pay up front. Not sure how the Lord's gonna pull this one off!
Today, we did some errands and then went to Hogar de Ninos. As we pulled up to the gate, all was quiet within. It looked kinda like the rapture had taken place (or the crew went out for ice cream - inside joke). As I walked back through the auditorium (the roof looks great), I saw 15 little munchkins eating dinner in their new dining hall. Melanie spotted me and shrieked out "Terry." With that, suddenly I was surrounded by 15 pair of arms, all wanting hugged. It took me a few minutes, but I got to every one of them! There has been a change, 2 left and 2 came. But it didn't matter to the new ones, they knew that the other kids knew me and wanted hugged, so they did, too! We shared a great afternoon, hugging, kissing and feeling loved. Believe me, I got way more than I gave. But, it's kinda like that with God, the more we give, the more He blesses. It was tough driving away tonight, even though I'll see them in a week or so. The unconditional love of those sweet...oh...I can't go on, tears are clouding my vision.
I love you all and miss you (especially on days like this),
Terry
